Rev. Rishaunda M. Ewings

Ms. Ewings is a founding partner of Shekinah Legal Group. www.shekinahlegalgroup.com An honor graduate of the Howard University School of Communications, Ms. Ewings earned her Juris Doctor of Law degree and a Certificate in Law and Public Policy from the Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law.

She has worked with the District of Columbia Child and Family Services Agency, the foster care agency for Washington, DC in a number of positions including as law clerk to the General Counsel and ultimately the position of Executive Assistant to the General Counsel where she served as liaison between CFSA and other District and federal agencies in representing the interests of the agency and children who had become wards of the District.

Ms. Ewings is a seasoned public policy advocate that has applied her more than 10 years of experience in areas as diverse as national telecommunications policy and child welfare. She has been the Program Director for a non-profit organization serving at risk youth in Washington, DC. She has likewise worked on legislative issues that affected children and youth in foster care, and administered wrap-around services programs for children and youth in foster care.

As personal ministry, Ms. Ewings is committed to work that brings men and women into relational wholeness. She has established Free Indeed Ministries through which she writes uplifting devotional poetry and prose that helps individuals to stay free from bondage and addictions and lusts whether for power, money, debt, sex, alcohol or drugs. Her own powerful testimony bears witness to the fact that that whom the Son sets free, is Free Indeed. She also conducts workshops and presentations on freedom from bondage and addiction.

Ms. Ewings is also the founder of Write the Vision, LLC, a Washington, DC based publishing house. As a consultant with The Crawford Group, Inc., www.thecrawfordgroup.com she utilizes her own excellent writing ability in her role as a program and policy consultant.

In every area of endeavor, Ms. Ewings is a sought after spokesperson, presenter and lay minister.
