the mission of Baraka and Associates is to:
Utilize our professional training and experience
as mental health professionals, massage
therapists, physical trainers, educators, and coaches, and our
Christian faith, as a foundation for facilitating improved well
being. Our services are available to individuals, couples, or
families seeking personal growth, conflict resolution, improved
self care, and assistance in living a purpose driven life that
is a reflection of God's love. We work with Churches, Businesses,
and Community Based Organizations as Consultants, Educators,
Conference, Seminar, and Workshop Facilitators on prevention,
treatment and maintenance in the field of Mental Health and
Holistic Wellness.
We pray to accomplish our mission by providing
a full range of prevention, intervention, and maintenance services
to include:
Short and Long term counseling is available
based on evaluation and client/staff agreement. BARAKA
COUNSELING is staffed by professional counselors and psychotherapists,
clergy and clergy who are trained psychotherapists.
BARAKA recognizes that increasing demands are being made
upon local pastors, ministers, and lay leaders to respond to
congregational and community needs for crisis intervention and
in-depth or long term counseling. BARAKA provides
consultation for pastors and clergy concerning mental health
issues in the church setting and community.
